The National Directorate of Public Procurement (DNCP) has opened a tender for the design and construction of a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and subfluvial outfall in Lambaré, funded by the IDB, Fonprode, and the EU through Aecid. The plant will process 2,226 liters of wastewater per second, reducing pollution in the Paraguay River, preserving the Patiño aquifer, and creating jobs. Proposals are due by April 21, with documentation available on the DNCP portal. This project aims to improve water resource management and the quality of life for thousands of Paraguayans.
