In a significant step toward digital transformation, Bancard has launched an integrated electronic invoicing system directly through its POS terminals, aiming to streamline operations for entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and businesses across Paraguay.

Developed in partnership with local fintech TAXit and with the support of the National Directorate of Tax Revenues (DNIT), the platform enables users to issue digital invoices quickly and easily—whether they accept payments by card, cash, QR, transfer, or check.

This innovation is expected to benefit up to 80,000 businesses, simplifying tax compliance while improving access to digital tools. Even those without a POS terminal can use the feature via Bancard’s online portal, making it a truly inclusive solution.

The system includes digital certificates and signatures through a simplified, low-cost process. During its launch phase, users can access the service free for three months, with an affordable monthly cost thereafter.

By anticipating the 2026 e-invoicing requirement, Bancard is helping local businesses get ahead of the curve, boosting formality and promoting the digital evolution of Paraguay’s commercial ecosystem. Source: ForbesPy
