Discover Paraguay’s Stunning Waterfalls: 8 Must-See Natural Wonders

Paraguay’s breathtaking natural beauty takes center stage in The Route of the Falls, a new tourism initiative launched by Senatur for summer 2025. This scenic route highlights eight of the country’s most impressive waterfalls, offering adventure and eco-tourism experiences.
The featured waterfalls include Salto Cristal (Borja, La Colmena), Ybycuí National Park (Ybycuí), Salto Suizo (Independencia), Tembey Falls (Yatytay), Aventura Monday and Salto Monday (Presidente Franco), Ñacunday Falls (Ñacunday), and Karapä Falls (Mbaracayú Forest Reserve). Visitors can enjoy hiking, swimming, and local cuisine while exploring these natural wonders.
In addition to this nature-focused circuit, Senatur also introduced the Beer Tour and Terrazas de Asunción Tour in the capital, further diversifying Paraguay’s tourism offerings. These initiatives aim to promote sustainable tourism, create economic opportunities, and showcase the country’s rich landscapes and cultural heritage.
