The Poverty Stoplight methodology, developed by Fundación Paraguaya, has been recognized as one of the 40 winners of the World Summit Awards (WSA) 2024 in the Inclusion and Empowerment category. This distinction makes Fundación Paraguaya the sole Latin American representative to receive the honor this year.

The WSA Grand Jury, convened in Vienna, selected the initiative from over 100 shortlisted projects, praising its innovative approach to poverty eradication. The Poverty Stoplight is a digital tool that enables families to assess their socioeconomic status using visual indicators and create personalized strategies for improving their living conditions.

Luis Fernando Sanabria, General Manager of Fundación Paraguaya, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing its impact in more than 60 countries and its alignment with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. The award will be presented at the WSA Global Congress in Hyderabad, India, in April 2025, where Fundación Paraguaya will showcase its methodology to a global audience. (Source: Foco)
