Global Economic Leaders to Gather in 2026 for IDB and IDB Invest Meetings

Paraguay has been officially selected to host the Annual Meetings of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and IDB Invest in March 2026. This high-profile event will bring together representatives from 48 countries and more than 3,000 attendees, including investors, policymakers, and industry experts.

The Minister of Economy, Carlos Fernández Valdovinos, emphasized the significance of this selection, highlighting the country’s economic stability and progress. "This Assembly will allow us to showcase the macroeconomic strength we have built with effort and responsibility," he stated.
